Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Are you a home-care agency?

+

No. The Goldfinch Concierge is a nonmedical concierge company. We do not provide personal care, medication administration, bathing, dressing, lifting, or skilled nursing. When those needs arise, we refer families to appropriately licensed providers.

Who typically hires you?

+

Adult children whose parents live independently but need occasional help, independent adults 60+, busy professionals, pet parents, homeowners who travel, and families managing responsibilities from a distance.

How is a membership different from hourly service?

+

Memberships give you priority scheduling, familiar faces, authorized family updates, and a predictable monthly cadence. Hourly service is ideal for one-off tasks or occasional needs.

What does the Premier membership include?

+

At $675/month, up to 12 visits totaling up to 15 concierge hours: home check-ins, shopping, prescription pickup, errands, tech help, mail and paperwork, appointment companionship, pet care and transportation, home-service coordination, family updates, and a monthly summary — plus up to two evening or weekend visits and one same-day request per month, subject to availability.

How do payments work?

+

Memberships are billed monthly. Individual services are billed after the appointment. Third-party expenses (groceries, prescriptions, pet supplies, tolls, parking) are billed separately with receipts.

Do you drive clients?

+

For appointment companionship and pet transportation, yes — coordinated in advance and covered by commercial auto arrangements. We do not provide emergency transportation.

How do you keep our home and information secure?

+

Every client completes a service agreement with authorized-contact and access documentation. Keys and codes are stored securely, never labeled with the home address, and are returned or destroyed when service ends.

What is your service area?

+

We launch in a cluster of Middlesex and Mercer communities including East Brunswick, Monroe, Old Bridge, Princeton Junction, and West Windsor, with a standard 10–12 mile radius. Nearby towns are considered case-by-case.

How do we get started?

+

Request a complimentary consultation. In 20–30 minutes we'll understand the household, propose the right level of support, and outline next steps.
